Trumpeter Lucas Davis is a creative musician dedicated to spreading peace and love by sharing his music with audiences across the world. He is a passionate improviser, performer, and composer in the jazz world, as well as a well-versed classical trumpeter, but he enjoys playing all styles of music. He has participated in the Colorado All-State Jazz Band during all four years of high school, and has toured the country from coast to coast performing with the Troopers and Blue Coats Drum And Bugle Corps. Throughout his career, he has shared the stage with Grammy winning artists like Paul Beaubrun and Thomas Pridgen. He currently studies with Mike Rodriguez and Mario Guarneri at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.

 

Music has played a very important role in Lucas’s life. It has served as an outlet for him and turned into a lifelong obsession. He is dedicated to honoring the legacy of Black American Music by learning from the masters, and studying the roots of the music. He is also looking to push the music forward with new innovations in his own compositions and playing while still paying respect to the lineage and history.
